Capt. Rasol Puteh, 60, is a very experienced Master Mariner and a Colombo scholar. He holds a Master Mariner Certificate of Competency and was trained in India, the UK, and Australia. He served in shipping companies in the likes of MISC Bhd. and PNSL Bhd., sailing on various type of ships as officers, and later as a Cargo/Marine Superintendent and Managerial position shore. He was one of those responsible for starting the LNG shipping – the small LNG ships chartered by MLNG from PNSL Bhd. in the early 90s.

Short stint as Lecturer in Akademi Laut Malaysia, Melaka before engaging in real port and ship operations/logistics as follows:

Vice President in various Divisions of Konsortium Logistik Berhad (KLB) – Auto Logistics, Project Logistics, Oil & Gas Logistics; Westport Distripark Sdn.Bhd. (Intregated Warehousing) And Vehicle Transit Centre Sdn.Bhd (VTC) – Vehicle export and import yard in Westport. – Free Zone of Westport, Port Klang.

As Head of Marine Projects in Realmild (M) Sdn.Bhd., was in-charge of marine-related projects including representing the company in negotiating with BAE Systems, UK, for the implementation and construction of the RMN Jebat Corvette Projects

Chief Operating Officer, Labuan Shipyard & Engineering Sdn.Bhd. and overall in-charge in managing the Shipyard and reporting directly to the Board of Directors, Radimax Sdn.Bhd. (Realmild (M) Sdn.Bhd.)
